My beloved bonus daughter for the last decade and likely, times before now.

I had never felt like I would have only one child, so when Kaya walked into our lives all those years ago it all made sense.

I have watched her grow, struggle, glide, hustle, and excel!

She is as delicate as she is strong. Present and gentle as she is a smack talker.

A beautiful artist, although the world rarely sees her work and a self-taught musician.

Kaya lets her interests and passions guide her, and my hope is that this will always be the case.
